2015 reissue on two 180g lps and a single sided etched 10 on thinner vinyl in original packaging in debossed gatefold sleeve with die cut inner flap holding the 10. Takk is the fourth album from sigur rós. Both albums are due on august 28th. Limited to 1000 copies.

Sigur rós recently gave their 1999 album ágætis byrjun an expanded pressing and now the icelandic dreamweavers have rolled out two more vinyl reissues. The vinyl is very high quality dmm pressing. Peeled the paint off my walls with the full system on glosoli and then switched to my lcd 2 lyr 2 setup 76 rockets and luxuriated in the rest a few times. Takk sigur ros fourth album has been out of print on vinyl for a while.

The music itself is fantastic and one on sigur ros best albums. A lot better actually. Sigur rós takk deluxe 180g vinyl 2 x lp etched 10 sides are actually numbered 1a 1b 2a 2b 3a. This reissue contains the same deluxe gatefold sleeve and etched 10 record as the original version.

Meanwhile is being pressed to clear wax and comes in a run of 3 000 copies. Got takk this afternoon and am loving it. The rca copy sounded noticeably better.

Its reissue here comes with deluxe 180 gram 2lp vinyl thick card dual gatefold sleeve with embossed artwork on the front and rear and a center insert with a single sided 10 for mílanó the other side contains an etching. According to bull moose listings takk will arrive on deluxe 180g vinyl featuring two lps and a 10 featuring mílanó on one side and an etching on the flip. However this is listed as the 2009 vinyl release. I ve generally not had problems with new vinyl reissues except that i had the chance to a b a new 180 gram reissue of iggy pop s lust for life with the original rca copy and my findings were a bit troubling.

While it is almost identical to that release this is a repressing of the album done in 2012 or at least the one that i bought was.
