Compared to the contoured queen pillow this pillow has a classic domed pillow shape and is higher than the queen. Now fast forward only two months and i guess i have broken in the pillow. This is my second cloud lofty pillow. One review on the tempur pedic website described the pillow as being soft as a cloud so we simply had to try it for ourselves.

My first pillow i had for 2 1 2 years before it got too thin from use. This means though that because of its depth it may be better for back sleepers than side sleepers unless you re happy with a substantial pillow to replace two. Just soft enough and firm.

The polyester knit cover is thick soft and perhaps best of all can be removed for easy cleaning. It s way too soft and the support is gone and now my neck shouldar pain and migraines are back. This pillow is not for everyone because my wife doesn t like the firmness of it. This pillow was great at first.

It is also machine washable though the very pillow cannot be washed as the tempur foam will absorb a lot of water and it will take a lot of time to dry naturally. Tempur cloud the tempur cloud pillow is one of the highest rated and highest reviewed tempur pedic pillows available. I did have to take off the washable cover since it made it too lofty and i was hurting the next day. Despite the pillow boasting a name that includes the word soft in the title the pillow itself is not what i would consider soft although it is very responsive and contouring and it has a softer feel than a heavier memory foam.

If you re looking for a high quality memory foam pillow and you don t like the more rigid s shape of the contoured pillow then this tempur traditional cloud pillow is the one to go for.
